Hope everyone survived the Holidays!

We had a wonderful time with with our families and friends

Shopping is on our list for the new year!  Thanks to all of you we need to restock 

the barn.  We have already grabbed some fantastic items we can't wait to share with you, but we just don't have enough for the Big Flea in January.

We will be on many buying trips this winter for a big Spring show.

Thank you to all who came out to the Big Flea!  We had a great show and met some Fabulous new friends.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our first "thebarnonsweetwood" sale a success!  We were  happy to see so many of you come out and support us and walk away with some awesome finds!  We weathered a Tornado/Monsoon on Thursday, rain and mud on Friday, Wind on Saturday but with Sunshine and an absolutely picture perfect day on Sunday!

Please let us know if you loved something but it was sold. We would be happy to look for something equivalent during our shopping adventures!

If you missed us, we will be at the Chantilly Expo Center for the "BIG FLEA & ANTIQUE SHOW" NOVEMEBER 5TH AND 6TH.  Come and see us!!

Sharing some of my latest panting work!

I recently did a job for a "Bed & Breakfast" in Hume Va.  It was a small part of a big job but I loved it and really liked how the final product came out!  A designer Friend hired me for this job.  She was very specific with what she wanted on these cabinets matching some fabric that she had used in the room.

I started with the flat area of the cabinet and hand painted a molding.  It matched the fabric I was given.

This is a closer picture.  I did a total of 3 of these.
