Hello!  We have been busy...busy!

We are sorry that we haven't been very good at blogging!  I am the first to admit that technology today is a huge challenge for me!  My 15 Year old can dance circles around my computer skills....but, I am trying!!!!

We picked up some awesome glass Chemistry beakers, jars.....Bottles!  Take a look below.  They are so much fun to display with.  Just thinking outside the plain decorating box.  :)

A little shopping around Raleigh NC!

I had a little....ok, A LOT of fun this Thanksgiving weekend shopping in Raleigh NC.   Instead of fighting the regular retail crowds, I decided to take some me time and check out a few of the vintage and antique shops in Raleigh.  I ended up finding some really fun things and I will for sure come back to revisit these shops!

The first place I stopped to check out was "The Vintage Village". Which consisted of a cluster of quaint little stores. All of the vendors we so sweet!

It's feeling a lot like Christmas!

I purchased a few items from SuzAnna's Antiques. A great shop with numerous vendors.

I had to have this old statue.  She has a Sacred Heart on her chest.

Ok...we already have an Elvis Bust but this one is a lamp.  VERY TEMPTING!

Adorable Shop owner & Artist GAIL FORREST.  
She made these fantastic artistic candlesticks.  I just loved them.

I'm embarrassed to say my ADD set in and I forgot the name of these unique angels that she made.  When it comes to me....I'll re-post.  I need to call her and ask her again!


Next is the sweetest lady I've met in awhile!  Her name too was Gloria.  I loved her adorable shoppe and her!
She has the most sparkling personality ever!  You need to stop by and visit all these shops but be sure to stop by and catch a bit her her happy fever!  It is contagious!

Saturday I made it to the Raleigh Fair Grounds and Flea Market. It was a gorgeous day.  So much fun!

This is John Lane from Vintage Studios.com  He makes these amazing iron/Architectural  & Industrial tables & lamps.

I picked up this one.  Cant decide....Marble top?, or Concrete?  Wood?  So many possibilities!

Well after all that ingested food....I walked some of it off this T-day weekend!  If you are around Raleigh, NC.....Stop by some of these places!  You will surly find some goodies!  :)

We are back from High Point market in North Carolina!

We had such a great show that we can't wait to get back to High Point in April!  The contacts we have met and friendships made are invaluable! Who would of thought that 10 hours on our feet for 8 days would have gone so quickly! (Our husbands at home would disagree....but .....Oh well!)  :) They hopefully know how much they are appreciated!

hartscreekllc.comTracy has the most amazing eye and builds furniture.  Indoor and outdoor, sleek & rustic.  I can't wait to get my out door table and bed I ordered for my son!

Some amazing Hides.

 Carol Pollard and her Husband Ernie Pollard.  We can't wait. to visit them at their shop in Greensboro, NC.  The had a hopping booth! Below is a colorful unique stuffed horse that had a lot of interest.

I got to meet one of my favorite designers! Genivieve Gorder from HGTV.  She came into our booth and I told her I loved her.  Yes....I did.  I can't even say I'm embarrassed! I just did.  and....got a pic!  She is super sweet and was promoting her new carpet line.

Back to our handsome cowboy Russell.  Hat and all.....

Fanshawe and Blaine has unique vintage finds and two of the nicest owners we have ever met! Tori & Amanda, We can't wait to see them in Purseville, VA in December???
